• Job Description:

  Key Qualifications:

  • Candidate with at least 5 years, end to end project implementations experience for Retail domain.
  • Must have EPOS/MPOS/CPOS experience.
  • Experience in offline and online customization and deployment exposer 
  • Familiar with hardware extension and device integration 
  • Must have worked extensively in AX POS customizations in AX Retail implementation projects.
  • Atleast 1 AX retail projects implementations with MPOS.
  • Experience in AX Retail architecture and topologies.
  • Experience in Retail POS configurations is considered plus.
  • Good Exposure of D365 Retail architecture and Retail Extension model.
  • Good knowledge of Knockout Js and jQuery.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge of Type Script, C# and MSSQL with good analytical and logical skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of MVVM and MVC 
  • Should have Good Exposer in the following domains:
  • writing TDD 
  • Coding
  • Code Review
  • Unit Testing
  • Bug Fixing
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Life Cycle Services (LCS) & VSTS is mandatory.
  • Must be able to manage time, prioritize and communicate commitments.
  • Strong in communication and team management & flexible to travel domestic as well as international.
  • Excellent decision making and clients engagement skills.
  • Work visa to work in Canada and/or US will be a plus.

   

  Job Responsibility for these roles will include:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Dynamics 365 Commerce Point of Sale (POS) system, including Modern POS (MPOS) and Cloud POS (CPOS).
  • Ability to handle complex customizations and development tasks within the POS system, including creating custom transaction flows, screen layouts, and UI components.
  • Proficiency in advanced X++ and .NET programming languages to develop custom features, integrations, and extensions for the POS.
  • Experience in handling high-volume transactions and optimizing the performance of the POS system to ensure efficient checkout processes.
  • Experience in multi-store and global POS implementations, addressing various regional requirements and compliance standards.
  • Expertise in integrating and customizing payment gateways, peripherals, and hardware devices within the POS system.
  • In-depth understanding of POS security best practices and compliance requirements to protect sensitive customer data.
  • Proficiency in configuring and optimizing the offline mode capabilities of the POS system and managing data synchronization with the central database.
  • Thorough testing and quality assurance of custom POS features to ensure they meet business requirements and adhere to coding standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and promoting best practices.
